About Us…
Our History
St. Paul Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. They organized in 1884. A large home served as a place of worship until a church building was purchased a few years later on the corner of Michigan and Indiana Avenues. In 1926 a new house of worship was built at that location. It served well for 80 years.
In 1955 St. Paul congregation purchased property on Arbor Court. A Christian Day School was erected at that site and opened in 1958 with grades 1-8. Today, St. Paul offers a Christian education in grades preK-8. It is also a member of the Michigan Lutheran High School association in St. Joseph and students are able to continue their education on the high school level, The original two rooms were enlarged in 1965 to include two more classrooms, a gymnasium, a kitchen and several bathrooms.
The present newer church building was constructed on the Arbor Court site in 2006 and dedicated in December of that year.
Pastor Stephen Daley has served St. Paul since 2013 together with 4 teachers in our school.
